Zuna Yoga ( www.zunayoga.com ) delivers comprehensive 200hr and 500hr Teacher trainings Internationally and have this year expanded to Bali, being one of the ‘hot spots’ in the Yoga world.
The trainings are extremely thorough in line with the Yoga Alliance standards, formulated by Everett Newell and Katherine Girling, to take aspiring yogi’s and yogini’s to the next level in deepening their practice and building confidence in their understanding of the eight limbs, also bestowing on them the craft of teaching inspiring classes.
With a lot of curious ‘first timers’ to yoga, we initially make our visitors feel comfortable and try to remove any possible per-conceived notions, excitement to learn and participate then follows.
Walking in the door of a yoga center can be a scary thing for many. Possibly feeling insecure about lack of flexibility or not having designer clothing on. We set out to make people feel comfortable straight away by reminding them that yoga is not about comparing ourselves to others or rating our practice on how flexible we are. It is about being in the present moment, being mindful, being aware, becoming body conscious and most importantly being joyful!
Mindful eating and drinking is a practice we incorporate into all of our retreats at H20 Yoga and Meditation Center, bringing awareness to the importance of slowing down to reconnect with ourselves, our environment and our true nature of peace.
Taking extra long to chew our food by taking simply one bite at a time and then placing the bowl down between each mouthful and drinking in slow sips, benefits us upon every level of our being. Physically, eating mindfully produces more saliva, aids effective digestion and absorption of nutrients, which brings great health benefits to our body and mind upon every level.
